🌲 Treeline Quilting — Preorder Policy
At Treeline Quilting, we work hard to bring you the collections that matter — carefully chosen from the fabric lines we love and trust, from distributors like Riley Blake, Moda, Andover, and more. Preordering is how we make sure those special pieces find their way to you before they're gone.
We want the process to feel as comfortable as settling in with a good project. Here's how it all works.
🧵 How Our Preorders Work
We offer two preorder options depending on the product:
⭐ 1. 50% Deposit Preorders
(Available for larger kits, and long-lead releases)
⭐ 2. 100% Up-Front Preorders
(Used for yardage, precuts, notions, and shorter-timeline items)
Either way, your spot is held and your fabric is yours the moment you order.
💛 50% Deposit Preorders
When we open a deposit-based preorder, you'll pay half at checkout — the rest comes due when your order lands at our door.
What you pay today:
✔ 50% of the product total
✔ Your place in line, guaranteed
What happens when it arrives:
✔ We'll send you an email with a secure payment link for the remaining balance
✔ You'll have 7 days from the date the invoice is sent to complete your payment
✔ The remaining 50% must be paid before we ship
Please note: If payment is not received within 5 days, your order will be cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. We hate for that to happen — so if something comes up, please reach out to us before the deadline and we'll do our best to work with you.
💙 100% Up-Front Preorders
For fabric by the yard, fat quarter bundles, precuts, and most notions, we collect full payment at checkout. This lets us place accurate orders with our distributors and guarantees your quantities are locked in.
You'll receive:
✔ An order confirmation right away
✔ Any updates if a manufacturer shifts their timeline
✔ A shipping notification the moment your order heads your way
📅 A Note on Timing
We source from manufacturers we know and trust, but release timelines are ultimately set by them — not us. Dates from Riley Blake, Moda, Andover, and our other partners can shift due to production or shipping factors beyond anyone's control.
When things change, you'll hear from us. That's a promise.
🚚 Getting Your Order to You
- Preorders ship once they arrive at Treeline Quilting.
- Orders with both in-stock and preorder items will generally ship together when everything is ready.
- 👉 Need your in-stock items sooner? Just place them as a separate order and we'll get them moving right away.
❌ Cancellations & Refunds
We want to be upfront with you, because we think you deserve honesty: when you place a preorder with us, we place an order with our distributor specifically for you. That commitment goes both ways.
Because of that:
🚫 Preorder deposits are non-refundable
🚫 Fully paid preorders are non-refundable
🚫 We are unable to cancel preorders once they are placed
This isn't fine print — it's simply the reality of how preordering works, and we believe in being clear about it from the start.
The one exception: If a manufacturer cancels or discontinues an item on their end, you will receive a full refund, every time, no questions asked.
🧵 Combining Multiple Preorders
Ordering more than one item from the same release? We'll do our best to combine them at fulfillment. If that results in a shipping overage on your end, we'll refund the difference automatically.
💌 You'll Always Know Where Things Stand
From the moment you order to the day your package ships, you'll receive:
✔ An order confirmation
✔ A preorder acknowledgment (for deposit orders)
✔ A payment request when your items arrive
✔ A shipping notification when your order is on its way
