Create a colorful throw quilt with the Hexie Blooms Quilt Kit, featuring fabrics from the Cotton Nook collection and the Hexie Blooms pattern by Cotton & Joy.

Although the finished quilt has the look of pieced hexagons, the pattern does not require any Y-seams. The printed pattern includes a template for cutting the half-hexagon pieces, so a specialty ruler is not required. However, a ruler that cuts 4½" half hexagons makes the cutting process much easier. I recommend the Hex N More Ruler by Jaybird Quilts.
